Coronation Street is a British television series that first aired on 9 December 1960. The series takes place in a fictional town called Weatherfield in Manchester, with a concept based on the reality of life. The series, which includes many different characters, has a large fan base in England.

At the beginning of Coronation Street, there were only seven characters. However, over time, new characters were added to the series and today it has hundreds of characters. The series covers family relationships, friendships, marriages, divorces, losses and many other topics.

Coronation Street has entered the Guinness World Records for being a series that has been running for over 60 years. The series is produced by Granada Television, an independent producer, and is broadcast on the ITV network. Coronation Street also has many fan bases around the world and is broadcast in many countries.

There are many memorable characters in the series. These characters include Elsie Tanner, Ena Sharples, Bet Lynch, Hilda Ogden, Ken Barlow, Deirdre Barlow, Jack and Vera Duckworth, Roy Cropper, Hayley Cropper and Steve McDonald.

Coronation Street has gone down in history as one of Britain’s longest-running television series. The series offers its viewers stories based on the reality of life and therefore has a huge fan base for years.
